Chunghontap Monument

It is a monument that commemorates soldiers and policemen from Sokcho who died in the Korean War. On the front of the monument, bronze statues that depicts fight of soldiers are attached on right and left side, while at the back, you can find epitaph list of fallen soldiers. Here is part of writings on the epitaph, which reminds us how important our nation is; When a stranger asks you, answer this; We have protected our free nation of Korea according to our call of duty; And we rest in here as a flower bud.
