Joyangdong Prehistoric Settlement

It is a house site built around 7-9 Century B.C. at the time of Bronze Age. Bend-handle dish that is excavated from the site is considered as an important relic that proves cultural exchange between North-Eastern and Gangwon-Yeongdong regions from end of Neolithic times and early Bronze Age. It might be too quiet to just visit the site, however, if you follow up the promenade and arrive at the summit, you will enjoy a wide view that shows Cheongchoho Lake , Abai Village and Lighthouse of Dongmyeonghang Habor.
