The biggest ridge in Soraksan, in Gangwon-do Yangyang-gun Seo-myeon Osaek-ri San1, 1,707.9m-high Daecheongbong features the whole view of Seoraksan. Daecheong Ridge enables you to look over the mysteriously beautiful scene of sunrise and sunset. On the top of the ridge you can spot the carved words, 'Love mountains, love water.'

East of Hangyeryeong Pass, part of Soraksan National Park, 1,424m-high Jeombongsan Soraksan faces Daecheong Ridge. It features Jujeongol namely 12 lake valley, which has the diversity of rocky peaks, primitive forest, and valley water. You cannot miss Osaek mineral water spring in the entrance of Jujeongol.

Dunjeon Valley shows off National Treasure No.122, 5m-high granite Jinjeonsaji 3layer pagoda during the reign of Silla King Gyeong-ae in the typical style of United Silla Stone Pagoda. It also boasts a famous reservoir as a fishing spot full of freshwater fish like landlocked salmon.

In Osaek-ri home-stay village the brooks takes Osaek Spring to after Yaksu bridge (old name Daegujib bridge). During the mid Joseon Dynasty (about 1500AD), one monk of Osaekseoksa found spring water from a rock and proved it as mineral water and named it after Osaekseoksa. Or it's said that 5 different tastes brought the name Osaek Spring ('5 tastes'). Three fountains are formed and upper one has more iron while the lower 2 fountains contain more carbonic acid. The quantity always stays the same for about 500 years(1,500liter per day). The boiled rice with this water looks bluish and tastes better and is told to be good for digestive disease, neuralgia, and anemia, attracting many people from all the country.
