Bordering Inner-Seorak and Outer-Seorak, 1,327m-high Madeungryeong which used to be a road linking East and West in the past with poor transportation system, is now only for hikers. On its peak you can overlook the East Sea in the East, part of Inner-Seorak in the West, steeping rocky view of Outer-Seorak in the South, and Sejongbong in the North.

Gongnyong Ridge is stretched over Madeungryeong and Daecheongbong. The misty sight of Madeungryeong is the greatest of its beauty and mystery with shady look of Cheonbuldong peaks. The hiking course through Seorak-dong Small Park, Waseondae, Biseondae, Geumgang-gul, Gindaebong, Geumgangmun takes you to Madeungryeong in about 3 hours.
