Gyejoam, below Ulsanbawi, 2.3km north of Sinheugsa, was made in rocky cave, in 652 A.D. (Queen Jindeok, the 6th year) when Hangseongsa was also built. Dongsan Gakji Bongjeong were among its main monks and Wonhyo and Great Monk Uisang had an ascetic life, which brought its name. local celebrities and Buddists. Also added by Tourist sites like Ulsanbawi and Heundeulbawi, it has been frequently visited by tourists (mostly school excursion) and it tells many legends about Ulsanbawi, Sueumbawi, Gyejoam, locusts, Moktakbawi, etc.).
