Cheongchoho is bisected into North and South port. Situated north of Cheongchoho, Dongmyeonghang is a commercial seaport, while the South port is a outpost of fishery and the main port of marine products in Yeongdong area.
Near Dongmyeonghang, Yeonggumjeong and live fish market attract tourists. You can fish on a breakwater in fresh breeze.

Tourist Ferries floats ashore of Sokcho, Goseong, and Yangyang, since Apr.13, 2000 Baedusan route has started, and currently Dongchunho goes three times per week (Mon.,Wed.,Fri.) linking Sokcho(Sokchohang) Russia(Jaruvino) China(Hunchun). Northern Tourist trade is expected lavish centering Sokchohang relating Seoraksan Geumgangsan Baekdusan.

1. From Seoul via National Road :
passing Misiryeong straight to cross-country bus terminal crossroad, right turn leads Suboktab Park. Left turn here and strait driving takes you to Dongmyeonghang.
2. From Seoul via an express bus :
On Yeongdong Expressway from Seoul, around Gangrung or Jumunjin takes National Road No.7 and go north. Straight ahead passing Sokcho Daepohang, Bus Terminal, and Sokcho downtown, you will see Suboktap Park on the right hand, and approach straightly to Dongmyeonghang.
