The red lighthouse of Daepohang port is farmous as it is the first object that meets the eyes of travelers just as they come down Hangyeryeong hill. The port is also famous for the good catch of flatfish, flounders, and yellow tails, Squid fishing is also an interesting sight. The market here is a good place to have a dish of fresh sushi.

2. Passing Hangyeryeong :
Passing Hangyeryeong Via Yangyang-up Following National Road No.7 20min. northward, you approach right after Seoraksan entrance Dapaehang in the right.
3. Passing Jinburyeong :
Passing Jinburyeong Driving on No.7 along seaside to Sokcho 3min. after Seoraksan entrance takes to the sea and Daepohang on the right hand.
4. Passing Daegwanryeong or Gangreung :
Passing Daegwanryeong After Gangreung, 1hr. drive northward along with No.7 until Seoraksan entrance 3min. after Seoraksan entrance takes to Daepohang on the righthand.
