The Ocean Festival is a comprehensive one that was created in order to help realize Sokcho's goal of becoming an elegant, marine tourist city. Musical performances and various marine events are held at the end of July at Sokcho Beach, Cheongchoho Lake, and Jangsahang Port. You can enjoy catching squid with bare hands, digging for clams, etc. Exciting programs are available for families.
