Situated in small pine tree valley southeast of Yeongrangho, Bogwangsa was constructed by Monk Jeongwhadam in 1937.
It was named after Bogwangbuljon, who was the smartest of Budda's 53 disciples, and worshiped in the temple.
The unfiltered glare of its vicinity is the most beautiful around Yeongrangho, attracting tourists throughout the year.
