The big bell, formed under the construction of Hangseongsa, was broken in fire. It was rebuilt by Wongakgeosa in King Yeongjo's 24th yr.(1748) and remodeled by Honghanseonsa in King Yeongjo's 34th yr.(1758). It has been protected in Bojeru as it was shot in Korean War. The currently used Beomjong was made with the donations by Buddhists including ex-president Park Jeong-hui and ex-first lady Yuk Yeong-su in 1965.
