[Natural Commentary Program]
Natural Commentary Program is supposed to bring experience and learning on nature in the national park. The National Park Public Administrative Corporation organizes Natural Comments, Beach Ecology Comments, Historic Cultural Comments according to each park. Soraksan National Park supervises Natural Commentary Program in Biryong Waterfall and Biseondae Natural Learning Exploration. On the 4.8km 2hour round-trip between Park and Biryong Waterfall, Natural Learning Exploration has installed a Natural Commentary Plate to describe diverse animals and greens, and natural phenomena in valley and falls. It takes about one and a half hour to get the Biseondae Natural Learning Exploration Road and back, which ranges 3.6 km from So Park to Ration Reserve.

  [Seorak Wildlife]
Thirty-eight species of mammals, including the Siberian Leopard and Amur Goral, both endemic to the Siberia zone, are known to have their habitats in the Seorak area. However, the Korean Tiger, Asian Black Bear, Musk Deer. Chinese Wilf, Korean Red Fox, Siberian Leopard, and Ussuri Sika have not been seen recently and are presumedto be endangered. The Siberian Flying Squirrel, Amur Goral, and otter are included in the list of 'threatened spcies'. The Korean Wild Boar, Korean Badger, Korean Raccoon, Chinese Roe Deer, Korean Water Deer, and Korean Yellow-Necked Marten have decreased in number due to human intervention and environmental changes. However, Eurasian Red Squirels and Asiatic Chipmunks, among others, are increasing in number thanks to improvenments in their habitat conditions.

  [Flora of Seorak]
The Mt. Seoraksan National Park is densely occupied with local wind flowers. In particular, the alpine plant habitat up near the mountain peaks serves as important reference in tracking the movement of plants according to the change in the climate. This area is also where the habitats for southern region plats and northern region plants overlap. Another interesting aspect about Mt. Seoraksan is that you can see diggerent flora in the inner Seorak and the outer Seorak.
